From the lights of the Strip to the incredible visuals of the Sphere, Vegas is one of those places that feels almost unreal. And it's not all casinos: the city is packed with public art and installations that turn your world upside down, sometimes literally 😁
If Vegas is on your bucket list, this is your sign to start planning ✈️
The Sphere
The giant LED globe lights up the skyline every night, and you can see the outside for free from the Strip. For the full experience, book a show or immersive film inside. Tickets sell out, so book ahead.
Getting there
Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) is only a 10–15 minute ride from the Strip.
Best day trips from Las Vegas
- Grand Canyon: by road, small plane or helicopter
- Hoover Dam: under an hour away, and often combined with the Grand Canyon
- Red Rock Canyon: desert hikes and scenic drives just outside the city
- Valley of Fire: red sandstone that glows at sunset
Where to stay
Mid-Strip hotels put you within walking distance of the main sights. Downtown / Fremont Street is cheaper and has a more old-school Vegas feel. Always check the resort fee when comparing prices.
